Lift In 2024

Please be advised that Lift-In this Saturday 27th will be an 8.00 am start.
All boat presenting to a mast station should have their mast, rigging halyards and bottle screws in good order in a tidy manner with rigging tied up with sail ties or similar short piece’s of rope so it can be quickly and easily made ready not with halyards warped round the mast and forestay like a Sunday roast.
John Lewis (Beeswing) will be supervising the 2 Mast stations please follow his instructions if your boat is not read you may well be asked to go away and prepare your boat.
Please bring a pair of gloves and an adjustable spanner to assist in dismantling cradles.
Our aspirations for the day are all the boats in the water, all the masts up and all the cradles tidied away.
Please make sure by Friday evening all materials are cleared from around your boat apart from one tin of anti-fouling and a brush for doing the bottom of your keel.
No pad areas are to be anti-fouled on Saturday morning only the bottom of the keel once lifted by the crane you will be given a couple of minutes.
No cars are in the compound on Friday apart from picking up or dropping off to allow delivery of the tractor and telehandler no vehicles were to be parked in the compound on Friday evening over night.
The galley will be offering a selection of filled rolls soup coffees tea and soft drinks a payment of £5.00 covers you for the day please bring the correct money.
As always safety is paramount not only yours but all those around you,
we all have a duty of care if you see something that does not seem correct please report to the lift coordinator.
The forecast is good we look forward to a safe, friendly and enjoyable day.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation in the aforementioned.
