Guest speaker will be Ian Johnson, ex Coxswain/ Mechanic of the Troon Lifeboat ~

Talking about his life, his work & his part in the Rescue of the crew of the Dutch dredger, Holland I, off Irvine on a poor night in September 1980. For his courage, skill and leadership in this rescue, Ian was awarded a Silver medal by the RNLI.
