Our very own Angel Carmona is scheduled for 1400 on Sunday 14 April 2024 to deliver a talk on his experience of sailing to and from the Isle of Man for the TT event last summer.
He will also demonstrate the deployment of an outdated life raft (if it still functions) for members who have not seen this procedure before.
This event will be the first in our series of scheduled talks by club members.
We would politely ask members that unless there is an emergency (defibrillator etc), to not access the main clubhouse until further notice. Works are progressing well, but health and safety along with the scope of work requires a temporary closure. We’ve placed a sealed container with coffee, tea, milk, disposable cups and the kettle in the garage and this is free to use until the main clubhouse reopens. Toilets and showers remain open as normal.
