Dear TCC Members

Albeit slightly belatedly, we are looking to present the Redwing Trophy award to the Club member who has sailed their yacht the farthest over the 2023 season. This award has not been presented since 2019 and it is now high time to resume the awards within the Club.

I’m aware of a few members who have sailed some impressive distances over the last year.  If you wish to be considered for this prestigious award then you simply have to compile your logs for the 2023 sailing season (any format is fine) then please submit them to this email address. Once they have all been received they will be reviewed and the winner will be announced at one of the upcoming social events. Cut off for submissions is 31 Mar 2024.

As the year develops we will look at reviving the other awards and getting the Club back up to speed. It will be good to incorporate the normal procedures established over the last 69 years. Looking forward to a 70th celebration in 2025 perhaps….
