TCC Horse Racing Evening

It would be appreciated if you could inform the Council if you intend to support this activity in order to facilitate procurement of nibbles and drinks. Either email or via WhatsApp or Facebook site, or to Commodore Shug Wotherspoon or to any Council members.

Wednesday Night Racing

Our Wednesday night “wacky” races officially start on Wednesday 22nd May and will run consecutively until September 11th with a shake-down race this Wednesday 15th May. Both May and September will combine to form a “month” and we may include further weekend racing as the season progresses.

We would encourage as many people as possible to participate either as skippers of your own boat or as crew on another. If anyone is unsure of the process, please get in contact with me as some of our seasoned racers are happy to take you out and “show you the ropes”.

Anyone requiring a handicap for your boat please contact Stuart Powrie at stuartpowrie56@gmail.com. Please also post your race results to Stuart’s email address as soon as possible on a Wednesday evening to allow the results to be collated.

There will be a pre-race briefing at 6.00pm ahead of each race with the actual race starting at 7.00pm.

There will be a BBQ on the last Wednesday of the month to which everyone is invited regardless if you are racing or not.
