September Muster – Tarbert Music Festival

This month’s Muster is the Tarbert Music Festival taking place over Fri 15 to Sun 17 Sept 2023.

As outlined in the musters calendar the event starts on Friday if you have scope to be there – us mere mortals who are at work will make the sail on Saturday, as ever weather conditions permitting.

The Harbour Master office advised that although busy they will have capacity for us this weekend. They do not take bookings for this event.

There are a lot of acts and amazing places to eat and drink in the Tarbert Harbour area.

We will look at meeting up on the Saturday evening – booking tables have been difficult in the past due to us arriving late due to conditions so it is suggested that boats and their crews make their own eating arrangements and we’ll convene in a suitable bar after dinner.

Lift Out

Please be advised our Lift-Out will take place on Saturday 14th October.

It will be a 7:00 am start, the list will open on Saturday 9th September and remain open until Saturday 23rd September. The whiteboard is on the cage door in the workshop.

Clubhouse Work

Please be advised that the work in our clubhouse is progressing well but for the next stage it is necessary to, with the exception of the toilets, close the clubhouse to all members. The only exception to this is if a committee member requires access to the committee room.

The clubhouse will therefore be closed from Tuesday 28th August 2023 until Monday 4th September 2023.

The reason for this is to allow external contractors to carry out plastering work to the price and to the time scale agreed .

We would therefore ask no members to interact with the contractors.
