Hydra‘s Dan on Quality Control
The Mullach Mhor was run on Saturday in bright conditions with a forecast for a steady breeze.
However the winds became light and variable on approaching Arran. Hoodlum managed to get across the line followed later by Green Kestrel but unfortunately there was insufficient for Hydra to make it ahead of the cut off. Continue reading
Unfortunately the weather meant no racing on our anniversary day, either in yachts to Ayr or tenders round the harbour.
This weekend is an offshore double header to Kingscross and back. Sailing instructions on the website and notice board.
For those cruising to Kingscross the fast cruise is from the usual start line to the finish at the Fullarton Rock can.

The April/May combined month Wackies have now finished. We have seen twelve different boats racing on Wednesday nights with a best turn-out of nine in one night equaling last year’s record. We will break back into double figures soon! Continue reading
