The next TCC muster will be in Largs Yacht Haven on 7th & 8th September.

Meal will be at the Bosun’s Table in the marina at 7 pm on the Saturday.  Menu and price (expected to be around £30/head) will be advised later.

We need to advise the marina of a list of boats a week before, so please add your boat name to the list on the club noticeboard or drop me an email.  The marina have requested that skippers contact them immediately prior to entering the marina (they should state that they are from TCC) so they can advise where to berth – they advise that we may NOT be berthing in the usual location.

The Bosun’s Table will be opening in the evening solely for us (they are normally closed at that time), and have requested us to provide numbers and any special dietary requirements at least a week before the event.  Again, if you wish to attend please add your name to the noticeboard or email me directly. I expect some members may wish to travel by car to attend the meal.  You will be aware that the weather can be difficult at this time of year that if you have indicated you wish to attend the meal but cannot make the trip by boat, please make other travel arrangements to attend the meal.

Otherwise arrangements will be similar to last time.  i.e. skippers are responsible for payment of their own berthing fees to the marina.  Individuals should pay for their meal (and drinks) directly to the Bosun’s Table.

Will boat owners please advise me if they have spare berths available that they are prepared to use for non-boat owners.

New members (and non-boat owning members) seeking a crewing opportunity please contact me directly and I will attempt to find a berth for you.  The muster involves a number of club boats sailing individually, then meeting up at Largs where we socialise on a few boats prior to heading to the restaurant for a meal, so it is an opportunity for you to meet with other club members.  If you sign up for the meal, but not able to sail, you will be most welcome to join us on the pontoons.
