After numerous technical issues, we are finally in a position to make our key fob entry system operational.
Many of you will probably have been using your key fob for entry into the clubhouse via the front door,
Now, as of Sunday 15th February am the main gate will be operational with the gate fob.
There is a timed delay to allow you to get out of your car having driven up to the gate press the green button drive out and close it before it rearms to lock the gate.
Please drop the pin on the gate as if it’s not rearmed and locked the wind can blow it ajar before it locks ….
If it times out before you you close it then the system will potentially stop you from shutting the gate fully just touch your fob onto the pad to deactivate and unlock it allowing you to fully close the gate and drop the pin.
To gain access just touch your fob against the lit pad on the gate open it as normal depending on how long you take to park it may or may not still be deactivated.
If you can not fully close the gate because it’s timed out just press the Green button to close the gate drop the pin and it will lock.
The time delay has been set at an estimated average time needed but can be fine-tuned in due course.
The long-running alternative use of the back door will revert to a fire door with a panic bar there will be no external key entry as there is at present.
Although a fire door can be used for both access and egress we would please ask you to respect it as it is for everyone’s safety and do not leave it wedged open please.
In due course, the entry system along with a new door will be expanded to the garage/ workshop.
If you have any issues or problems please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us.
We thank you for your patience and understanding in the hope that this will add to your convenience and help address potential security issues of so many old keys in circulation.
