We would ask that Boat owners recently lifted in, take advantage of what could be the last weekend without cars in the compound, we need to tidy up any leftover materials and stack or remove cradles to allow access and safe parking for vehicles.
If this clear up is well supported and completed over the weekend TCC Council intends to reopen the compound on Monday the 14th of June, We would ask that you continue to follow Covid protocol of social distancing along with good hand hygiene practice and regularly use the hand sanitiser station provided. Gloves will not be required for those going out to their boats, provided good hand hygiene is seen to be used.
For those with boats still out of the water or those using club dinghy and oars, workshop tools and equipment, which are touched regularly by multiple members, all the rules still apply including wearing glove and masks.
Any members found not to be adhering to TCC Rules i.e. wearing masks and gloves where appropriate using hand sanitiser, spraying touch points before and after use, disposing of Covid related rubbish in the correct bins, then they will be in breach of TCC Rules and dealt with appropriately.
NB. Just because you are allowed does not mean you have to, anyone wishing to continue wearing their gloves and masks going to their boat has the freedom to continue this practice.
We trust we can rely on your cooperation in these matters and continued support in keeping our club safe and functional.
Regards Covid team, Compound convenor and compound committee.
