As discussed at the recent AGM the Club has purchased mooring chains. These chains are available to members as a set (consisting of a chain with a centre ring to attach your mooring warp, 2 shackles and 2 bulldog clips for attachment to the wire rope on the wall) and will suit a pair of boats. These moorings can be supplied at a cost per set of £380 with an option to spread the cost over 3 separate payments. Contact me on 07747 895757 should you require a set.

The two bow and two stern mooring warps which you will require are your responsibility and stern warps must only be attached with black self-coloured shackles – no galvanised or stainless steel can be used. You will also require either a floating or sinking tripping line to connect bow and stern warps. If you require mooring warps, please contact George Hunter on 01292 314617 who will be able to assist.

Please check your mooring before Lift-in, and make sure it is in a suitable condition to put your boat back onto.

After the Lift-in we are going to do a survey of the chains and advise on their condition and also remove the rest of the redundant mooring junk.
